Conference Registration Fees
Early delegate registration (for registrations received on or prior to 30 April 2008)
£295 + VAT @ 17.5% = £251.06
Full delegate registration (for registrations received from 30 April 2008)
£350 + VAT @ 17.5% = £411.25
Student early registration (for registrations received on or prior to 30 April 2008)
£70 + VAT @ 17.5% = £82.25
Student full registration (for registrations received from 30 April 2008)
£100 + VAT@ 17.5% = £117.50
Student registrations must be accompanied by a signed letter from your Head of Department attesting to your student status
The conference registration fee includes:
- Abstract book available at the conference
- Lunch on 22 and 23 July
- Mid session coffee/tea breaks
- Drinks reception
Conference Debate Fees
The conference debate is open to both conference delegates and non-delegates. The entrance fee is £5 per person payable on entry.
Accommodation
Accommodation has been held for conference delegates at the following colleges within walking distance of the conference venue at the Examination Schools:
The Queen’s College single room @ £66 + VAT @ 17.5% = £77.55 per night
The Queen’s College twin room @ £100 + VAT @ 17.5% = £117.50 per room per night
St Edmund Hall single room @ £41 + VAT @ 17.5% = £48.18 per night
All rates include breakfast.
Accommodation is limited and rooms should be booked as soon as possible to guarantee availability.
Payment
Registration and accommodation fees are payable in advance of the conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the registration form on-line with credit card payment. Confirmation of your payment, registration and accommodation booking will be sent by email. If you have not received confirmation of your registration within 7 days prior to the event, please contact the Conference Secretariat.
Payment by credit card is preferred but it is also possible to pay by cheque and bank transfer as follows. Cheques payable to “The Oxford Conference 2008” should be enclosed with your completed registration form. Payment by bank transfer should be made to The Oxford Conference 2008, Account Number 1949550, Branch Sort Code 30-94-04, Lloyds TSB Bank plc, (309404) Branch, 87 London Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 9AB, UK. SWIFT BIC: LOYDGB21176, IBAN: GB32 LOYD 3094 0401 9495 50. Please ensure that all bank transfer payments include clear reference to the delegate name and organisation.
Cancellations
Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Conference Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the congress Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 1 June 2008, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received by 22 June 2008, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 22 June 2008, or for no-shows at the congress, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.
In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the congress, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.
Changes
Details are correct at the time of going to print. The organisers reserve the right to change any session in the final programme.
